About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior BFF (Backend for Frontend) Engineer with expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, and eCommerce platforms. You will design and build scalable Backend-for-Frontend services that power modern web and mobile applications by seamlessly connecting frontend applications with backend microservices.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Design, develop, and maintain BFF services using Node.js
✅ Build and optimize GraphQL APIs and resolvers
✅ Integrate multiple REST APIs and microservices into a unified API layer
✅ Optimize API performance using Redis caching, batching, and efficient data fetching
✅ Collaborate with frontend, product, and UX teams to deliver tailored APIs
✅ Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API governance
✅ Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
✅ Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability

Required Skills

✔️ 8+ years of backend development experience
✔️ Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
✔️ Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server / GraphQL Yoga)
✔️ Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
✔️ Experience with Redis, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
✔️ Familiarity with Agile development practices

Mandatory Domain Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
