About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect (AWS Anchor) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms on Databricks and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, and technical leadership, with the ability to drive best practices across development teams and engage directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions using Databricks on AWS
✅ Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Apache Spark, and Python
✅ Implement and manage Databricks Unity Catalog across multiple environments
✅ Architect and optimize data lakes and cloud-native data platforms on AWS
✅ Work with AWS services including S3, EMR, Athena, Glue, and CloudWatch
✅ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate deployments
✅ Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making
✅ Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to best practices
✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to deliver scalable data solutions

Required Skills

✔️ 8+ years of Data Engineering experience
✔️ 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks on AWS
✔️ Strong expertise in PySpark, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
✔️ Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog implementation and governance
✔️ Strong knowledge of AWS services including S3, EMR, Athena, Glue, and CloudWatch
✔️ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation
✔️ Excellent architectural design and problem-solving skills
