🔥 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM-SOM Functional Consultant to support Subscription Order Management (SOM) design, configuration, testing, and integration across the complete Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle.

The consultant will work on subscription order capture, contract lifecycle management, product and solution modeling, contract changes, renewals, cancellations, and downstream integrations with SAP Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), FI-CA, RAR, and S/4HANA Finance.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Configure SAP BRIM-SOM processes for subscription orders, change orders, renewals, cancellations, suspensions, and amendments.
• Support product modeling for subscription, recurring, one-time, and usage-based offerings.
• Configure commercial bundles and contract-relevant product structures.
• Configure and validate provider contracts and subscription contract items.
• Manage contract start/end dates and billing cycle references.
• Configure contract change processes and downstream BRIM handoffs.
• Translate user stories, KDDs, and functional requirements into SOM configuration and functional specifications.
• Support SOM integration with SAP Convergent Charging for rating-relevant data.
• Support integration with SAP Convergent Invoicing / FI-CA for billing and receivables.
• Support SAP RAR contract data flow for revenue recognition.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and defect triage notes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, SIT/UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
• Validate SOM impacts across the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process.
• Support FS/TS sign-off, Clean Core considerations, defect resolution, documentation, and knowledge handover.
