🌟 Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud-based data platforms, ELT pipelines, and modern data engineering practices.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✔ Design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines on Snowflake using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and dbt

✔ Develop and maintain ELT processes to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into Snowflake using cloud-native tools and orchestration frameworks

✔ Work across multiple Snowflake accounts within a single organization setup while optimizing cost, performance, scalability, and data security

✔ Write efficient SQL transformations and automate workflows using dbt, Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools

✔ Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver enterprise-grade data products

✔ Implement and maintain data governance, metadata management, data quality, and lineage frameworks

✔ Integrate Python-based solutions for advanced data processing, automation, and machine learning model support

✔ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake workloads and overall data platform performance

🔹 Required Skills

✔ Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud

✔ Expertise in Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Virtual Warehouses, and Time Travel

✔ Strong SQL and ELT/ETL development skills

✔ Experience with dbt and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect

✔ Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

✔ Hands-on experience with Python and libraries like Pandas, PySpark, or SQLAlchemy

✔ Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling

✔ Experience in performance tuning, cost optimization, and security implementation in Snowflake

🔹 Preferred Skills

✔ Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and column-level lineage

✔ Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI

✔ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering

✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

✔ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects effectively

🎯 Preferred Candidate Profile

✔ 10+ years of overall IT/Data Engineering experience

✔ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
